1. Who we are

COMPANY LEGAL NAME, REGISTERED ADDRESS, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, "Zopanta", "we" and "us" mean that company. "The app" means the Zopanta mobile application.

2. What we collect

We collect as little as the app can work with.

• Your account. The email address you sign up with, and a password that we store only in an irreversible form.
• Your settings. The apps you chose to include, the daily limits you set and the hours you marked as active.
• Your progress. Counts of the pauses you were shown and the choices you made, so the app can show you your own history.
• Ring pairing. If you use the Zopanta ring, the app stores which ring is yours so it can reconnect to it.
• Basic technical data. Device model, operating system version and app version, used to fix crashes.
• The launch list. If you sign up on this website, we store the email address you gave us and the date you gave it, so we can write to you when the app is ready. Nothing else is stored with it.

3. The launch list

The sign-up form on this website does one thing. It stores your email address so we can tell you when Zopanta is ready to try.

• We write once at launch. We do not send a regular newsletter.
• We never sell the list and we never pass it to an advertiser.
• Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also write to [email protected] and we will remove you.

LEGAL BASIS: consent. Record that the person gave it, and keep the wording shown beside the form. Name the database host and the email sending provider below in section 6.

4. What never leaves your phone

Two things are worth stating plainly, because people ask about both.

• Zopanta does not read the content of the apps you use. It cannot see your messages, your feed, your photos or anything you type.
• Detection of which app is opening is handled by Apple on the device itself. CONFIRM: describe the Screen Time / Family Controls entitlement in the exact terms Apple approves, and state that this data is not sent to our servers.

5. Why we use it

We use the data above to run the app, to keep your settings and history in one place if you sign in on another device, and to fix problems.

LEGAL BASIS: state the GDPR Article 6 basis for each purpose, for example contract for running the account and legitimate interest for crash fixing.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

6. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the app run.

• HOSTING PROVIDER, country, purpose
• SUBSCRIPTION PROVIDER, country, purpose
• CRASH REPORTING PROVIDER, if used

If any provider is outside the EEA, name the transfer safeguard used, for example Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account and your settings for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete the data within NUMBER days, apart from anything we must keep by law.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable file. You can also object to a use, or ask us to restrict it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within NUMBER days.

If you are in the EU or the EEA and you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority. Name the authority for the country of establishment.

9. Children

Zopanta is not intended for children under AGE. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page, and we will tell you in the app before any change that materially affects you takes effect.
